The Overseal Village Life community website was launched in March 2009. It was setup to help promote a community spirit within the village of Overseal (and the close surrounding area). Although www.overseal.org.uk is an independently run and operated website;  it does receives some funding from the Overseal Parish Council. The website carries a small amount of advertising placements to try and cover the costs incurred in running and maintaining the site.

The Overseal Village Shop is a profit generating venture; promoted on the site which aims to help support the local Parent Teachers Association. It does this by receiving a small amount of cash for every transaction made through the ‘shop’ – this is achieved at no cost to the website nor the general public.
